I wasn't born in Real Life with a chiseled face and killer body. My pity party was over years ago, when I realized that all pretty glitter boys aren't gold. But, wonder what it feels like to be a hottie?
SL can give you the look that sucks guys to you like a black hole. Don't believe me, well believe your groin.
If your ego needs a little stroking (stroking being an operative word), be that HOTTIE, get hit on and enjoy the ride, (yes, I mean that the way you think I mean it).
Now a little lesson for the newbie: when you first join SL, you get a 'default' avatar that ain't going to make you the Bill of the Ball. Unless you just want to check things out, enjoy the incredible content of SL, don't expect much M2M attention with a newbie skin.

Basics on getting whormonal in SL:
1. NAME
You choose your own first name in SL. Think about this before you join. Be creative, some names can get a hint across pretty quick. Keep in mind, though, that communication in SL takes place if the form of typing. So don't make it toooooo long (there are other things you can make long).
2. SKIN
A skin for an avatar is like the skin on your body, its just the outside covering. Let your imagination be your guide. Skins can be a little pricey. Check out the link for some examples. Also, keep in mind that new things are always being created in SL.
3. SHAPE
You want to be muscle boy, swimmer boy or android? It's your choice. Shapes can be purchased, which is a quick way of getting that look you want, or you can tweak just about every body part on your default avatar (which, btw does not come with a cock... that's extra and a whole other post).
4. HAIR
Then you can buy the mohawk or euroboy hair you've always wanted. It's all there.
5. COCK
Yeah, that's extra....but a necessary accessory, dontcha think?
Then start your fantasy engine.

Right on Karim...you are totally right looks to matter. And nothing gives you quite the rush of getting IM'ed by cute boys looking for some attention.
The challenge is finding the unique skin and unique look. Have to find those smaller botique skin and shape shops that have great stuff that everyone else doesn't have.
And it's always good to make friends with an experienced player who can help send you landmarks to key places.
